
The link between employee mental health and productivity is undeniable. Yet, nearly 50% of Malaysian employees fear repercussions if they report mental health conditions. This is a global issue, with many hiding behavioral conditions from managers and colleagues.

Stigma remains a significant barrier for CEOs and management. While Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs) exist, "self-stigma" often leads to low utilization. A shift in attitude is required so psychological well-being is not solely the employee's responsibility.
